I am a local physician and Camanche ambulance director and home owner for over 30 years The train length will completely block access to schools, and emergency vehicles for 1/2 the town. The increase number of trains will increase noise and cause medical morbidity by interrupting sleep ,cause potential mortality in children caused by trying to cross blocked paths to school or avoiding racing cars trying to find open crossings. It will decrease home values, increase fentanyl and drug availability, and cause morbidity and mortality by increasing emergency response and time to hospital facilities. Camanche realizes no gain from this merger and over 2 million in expense to even partially mitigate these problems causing people to leave or not want to come to live in the community. The vibration caused by the increase weight and length can damage homes and any spills can permanently damage a very fragile Misissippi River basin. This merger will maim and KILL people and DESTROY small towns . Basically there is no rational reason for this merger to continue as other routes are available. I hope you take responsibility for the carnage and deaths this will precipitate. I will obtain the names of this board to hold personally responsible. John Dixon MD
