I do not agree with the merger between KCS and CP railroad operators. There is already an exorbitant amount of train activity in our neighborhoods. Our quality of life is negatively impacted by the current train activity and adding more activity would make it exponentially worse. People trying to go about their day moving around their neighborhood on foot should not be forced to resort to climbing under and over train equipment to get to their destinations. People are put in these dangerous and risky scenarios because trains sit in intersections for hours at a time. It is bad business and the train companies are not being good neighbors or responsible members of the community.
