As a long time home owner in Roselle, I would like to state my objection to this planned merger. 1. Dividing the communities will hugely impact emergency and police response. 2. Our roads will become parking lots another 14 times a day. The resulting traffic jams will take 20-30 minutes to clear. 3. Local businesses will suffer because patrons will avoid our area entirely. 4. Noise and diesel exhaust air pollution much more frequently. 5. Greater probability of derailments and hazardous material spills In dense population centers. 6. More likely to have loss of life and damage to property with increasingly frustrated people and vehicles running around gates at railroad crossings. Thanks for listening. Elmer Costabile
