Docket FD36500 Merger of CP_KCS rails will ADVERSLY AFFECT Davenport IA,Scott Co, & Quad Cities. Our area will see triple the train traffic which can result in back to back traffic ACCESS to crossing tracks is vital for many to reach home, work & recreation. ENVIRONMENT EIS admits increased traffic, noise, air quality, safety risk. All above is a risk to Nahant Marsh Preserve . EIS states we will have over 500 receptors of unacceptable noise & vibration levels At triple train traffic this will be constant. PLEASE PAY ATTENTION to this. Any mitigation measures will NEVER lessen the number of trains and adverse affects on citizens. Our citizens are opposed. Many believe railroads get what they want. City leaders exchanged silence for money if merger goes through. The offer will not begin to cover cost of noise mitigation, rail crossings, quality of life. It will NEVER lessen the train traffic, noise, vibration, delays. I invite you to spend a few days to enjoy downtown activities & restaurants, Nahant Marsh, tour boats, Mississippi River. Then imagine what triple the train traffic would do. I urge you to oppose the merger. Sincerely, Martha Burnham
