Re Docket # FD 36500 You cannot in all good conscious state that NOISE will be the only negative factor concerning the merger of CP/KCS. The health and welfare of tens of thousands of Illinois citizens will be in grave danger by this absurd future debacle! Wood Dale was not even considered in your analysis! WHY? Is it because the the angle of the tracks will block the two major intersections at the same time; thus blocking traffic in all directions at the same time! And up to fourteen times per day! Said traffic will be gridlocked from Elgin to Bensenville. Hours of traveling will be added to the lives of each citizen. Businesses will also be financially affected along with family obligations and schedules lost to extra hours of commuting. Of primary concern is the.lives that will come into harms way. First responders, fire trucks and police will not be able to reach victims due to extreme delays! Whomever in your independent non government agency that thinks otherwise should be severely reprimanded! Many lives will be lost! Just how many are worth 31 Billion dollars?
