I am against this merger. Living on the east side of Davenport just a few blocks from the tracks, it is already noisy with train whistles going by. When we're in our backyard and the blow, you cannot hear each other talking. The same when walking on the riverfront bike path. In the summer we are frequently woke up bt train whistles when the windows are open. A merger would only increase train traffic, decreasing quality of outdoor life.
