I vehemently oppose the proposed KCS merger. In Roselle between Roselle Road and Barrington Road, there is only one road to get through to Irving Park Road , which is Rodenburg Road. It is a small two-lane road with already heavy traffic. Over the years there has been a significant increase in commercial warehouse construction along Gary Avenue. The increased train traffic coupled with the new townhome construction on Rodenburg and commercial planned construction on the corner of Irving and Rodenburg would create a traffic jam like no one has ever seen before. Please reconsider the planned merger for the sake of residents and commuters in this and many other communities that will be affected. Thank you.
