I fully and emphatically support the No-Action Alternative to the Proposed Acquisition. CP and KCS have been very successful and this acquisition is unnecessary to sustain their success. On the other hand, what is necessary, is taking precautionary measures to protect the environment. Such precautionary measures should include this Board reviewing corporate initiatives with the upmost scrutiny and granting approval only when proposals such as these pose little to no danger to the public interest. Enough damage has been done, please utilize your authority to prevent more from occurring.
