Small towns in the USA are becoming far and few between. They are national treasures that must be protected... yes, even from the Canadians! If this merger goes through, many of these towns will be at a standstill everytime one of these monster trains roll through. Why is this so terrible? It won't just be cars and trucks stuck in traffic. The ambulances and firetrucks will be too- unable to get to where they need to be the most. With all the construction happening in my own small town, I cannot imagine adding more train traffic to it. This merger should NOT happen.
