The Proposed acquisition as stated in the Draft Environmental Impact Statement, “has the potential to result in significant environmental impacts.” I emphasize that it is imperative that steps be taken to prevent this potential damage. If the heat wave in California this week does not speak for itself, our planet is in danger, and it is now everyone’s responsibility to prevent corporate entities such as the Applicants from contributing to further irreparable damage to our environment.
