1. Based upon my review of Draft Environmental Impact Statement (“EIS”), it is of great concern that the Applicants provided inconsistent data to OEA. This Board had to suspend the Applicants procedural schedule due to what has been labeled a “apparent inconsistency.” (Draft EIS pg. S-1). This suspension indicates to me and likely the public at large that the Applicants data would likely not meet OEA standards and therefore they may have provided inaccurate information to try and “slide by.” I do not find it necessary to reiterate the potential severity of damage this acquisition will impose upon the environment, as it appears to be realized by those involved who have already made efforts to conceal it.
