I have many reasons for my opposition to this merger. Overall it comes down to how minority groups are going to be affected. The black and brown people of these small river towns aren't having their voices heard. When it comes to issues like access to potable water, these communities are always the first to experience issues. And based on Canadian Pacific's history, our waters are in real danger.
