The merger of these rail lines will cause many hardships to the City of Wood Dale as well as all of the neighboring towns to along the Metra line. Traffic will be impacted; emergency vehicles will not having access; the extra noise will be disruptive to the residents. The railway in our community is meant for Metra traffic and not long freight trains. There must be enough train tracks along unpopulated areas because how else could these trains have operated before? Thank you for your consideration.
