Comment EI-32208

I am opposed to the CP-KCS rail merger. As a resident living near affected rail lines I am opposed to the increase in freight traffic that will adversely impact passenger rail service that use the same rail lines, automobile transportation including emergency service access at rail crossings, and have serious concerns on the environmental impact the increased freight traffic will cause. Train accidents do happen and an increase in freight traffic through residential areas is asking for a disaster whether via derailment spills or at road crossings.
