I am concerned not about the gas emissions but the noise, vibrations, possible hazards and the consequences that the delays will create at the gates. Many people will be upset at the wheel and will cut through areas where the speed limit is supposed to be 25 at a way higher speed because they will want to catch up the time they are losing. What about people taking the Metra to go to work? how is it going to affect them? I am not against this project but I think the infrastructure is not there for such long trains. Why not shorter trains?
