Itasca is attempting to attract businesses to our downtown area, however, who would want to operate or shop in an area with constant train traffic and noise. More importantly, as a resident who has used ambulance services this would greatly impact getting to Alexian Bros. Hospital and/or if we needed police assistance. This would affect my banking, grocery shopping, park district use, library etc. This is a horrible proposal! Totally against it!!!
