This merger between these 2 railroads is totally unacceptable. This will turn our once peaceful neighborhood into a main detour route for drivers to get past streets blocked by a long freight train. Which will be unavoidable because there are only two streets to get north of the tracks. It is time that corporations like the Canadian Pacific start thinking about the negative impact that they are going to make in all of the communities instead of how much money they will make. This merger will make our town into another Franklin Park where you can sit helplessly for at times a half an hour or more, while a freight train is sitting motionless blocking the crossing. Please do not do this to our town and every town west of us.
