We just recently got out of freight train limbo with changes to the intersection of Wood Dale Road and Rte. 19, as well as moving tracks off grade at York and Irving. I do not want to go backward with increased delays and traffic backups from more freight trains. Waiting at a streetlight for 7.5 minutes is a huge waste of time, gas, energy, and creates more global warming. More long, slow trains through built out areas across heavily trafficked intersections is a bad deal for those left to live with it.
