We have plenty of trains running currently past our house. This will create additional trains running crude oil from Canada to Mexico. Derailments happen and have happened in our town of LeClaire, but can wipe out little towns that these trains run through. We already have excessive noise with train horn decibels higher than they should be. More trains will add more pollution and have he ability to stop emergency workers from crossing tracks in life/death situations.
