Your analysis completely lacking of the regard of how an average of 8 freight trains a day, placed upon existing tracks that have multiple Metra trains running on them, will create havoc in communities like mine (Bartlett, IL). The recent merger of the CN railway with CP in my community has created a NIGHTMARE of congestion and increased train traffic that is FAR WORSE than anything predicted. Not to mention a derailment close to the Spaulding Road crossing which could have been a disaster. Stop looking at the dollars here and start thinking about the communities who are adversely affected by these trains which cause serious delays, carry dangerous poisons and cut us off from other parts of our communities. Regards, Bob Skwarek
