Hello, I thought I would contact you with a little new information. There was a train/farmer crash in western Iowa a couple of days ago. Fire and death. Not CP, but an example of someone trying to get their crop to market and the result. In addition, I do not know if you knew that the CP train that derailed a month or so ago near Lansing dumped five carloads of coal into the river. I was at a meeting with a local, and he verified the railroad did its best to cover it up and deny access. We were originally told one car. Big difference. Also, did someone send you the op-ed from Chief Sikowis Nobiss is Plains Cree/Saltueax and the executive director of Great Plains Action Society. She is a member of George Gordon First Nation, in Saskatchewan, and has been living in Iowa for 17 years? I would attach the letter, but I don't know how. Not a computer genius. Anyway, very damning of CP based on activities in Canada. Also, would LOVE to have you come visit. Enjoying Iowa summer heat is something everyone should experience, and the corn is coming into season. I can assure you there is nothing better than Iowa corn - shipped all over the world to those who know. Thanks, Ann
