The proposed merger between Canadian Pacific and Kansas City Southern railroads is extremely concerning to me. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Americans have dealt with, and continue to deal with supply chain issues. This merger threatens our nation’s economic output while everyday Americans feel the economic burden of the current recession. For this reason, I believe that the merger should be struck down.
