As a Stillwater, Minnesota resident, I am extremely concerned with the proposed merger between Canadian Pacific and Kansas City Southern railroads. The possible derailment of a train could threaten the natural beauty of Stillwater which holds acres of shoreline on the St. Croix River. The railroad seemingly presents no benefits to me or my community and will only threaten Minnesota’s landscape, increase traffic and wait times at railroad crossings.
