As the owner of a home and small business located just a half-block from the railroad tracks, this merger will directly impact my business and property values. My business sits on the banks of the Mississippi River; half-block west is the railroad track and Highway 67. There is literally nowhere for people to pull over and wait to cross the tracks to get to my business. They will just drive past me and go elsewhere.
