Increased railroad traffic presents an unnecessary risk for our communities. As a caregiver in serving the Minneapolis area, this merger will add to traffic congestion and may threaten my ability to promptly care for those I serve. Not only is traffic safety a concern, but a large portion of the new cargo heading through our neighborhoods will be crude oil and other flammable materials. Unnecessary congestion and increased risks of devastating accidents is not good for our community.
