This merger doesn’t have the Quad Cities in mind. It will triple the number of trains we see, slow down local traffic, and worst of all, put people in harm’s way. Some of the railroad in question immediately borders event venues and houses, likely many with children. That is an accident waiting to happen, if you ask me.
