I live near these train tracks in Davenport. To say that I’m upset about the potential approval of this merger is a vast understatement. I can’t tell you how many bad experiences I’ve had with trains passing through town. The idea of facing triple the number of trains daily is nauseating – both in terms of traffic disruptions and noise. These companies don’t act in good faith right now, so why would they if this merger is approved?
