The Minneapolis Star Tribune reported that this merger could cause an increase of 15 to 20 more trains containing crude oil from Canada. I thought the Biden Administration was trying to shift away from our reliance on fossil fuels. This merger will do the opposite and make it easier to transport crude oil from Canada to refineries in Texas, thus furthering our reliance on fossil fuels.
