I am deeply concerned about the impact of increased rail activity along the Mississippi River and especially in the many communities that will be impacted. Concerns extend to and are not limited to increases in pollution, noise pollution, endangerment to wildlife, people, and ongoing long-term environmental vibration impacts to land and buildings. Concerns for decreases in quality of life, mental health, peace, and property values are also of great concern amongst the many negative impacts from increases in rail traffic.
