Comment EI-31798

This merger and the resulting greatly increased freight train traffic will cripple the small town of Itasca, with its public services on opposing sides of the tracks: fire, police and ambulance service on the south side and public works and related services on the north side. With only two train crossings in the entire town, the increased congestion and reduced availability of public safety entities will be a serious detriment to the health and well being of the people of Itasca. I am strongly opposed to this merger. (Received via project website)
