My wife and I live on the North side of the tracks between Walnut and Catalpa and for work and almost everything else that we do, we have to get to Irving Park which is South of the tracks. Between the passenger trains and the current freight trains, we already get significantly delayed on a regular basis. An increase in the amount of train traffic, especially freight trains would not only pose a significant inconvenience, it could also pose a significant safety issue due to the fire station and ambulance being on the South side of the tracks but the nearest hospital that nearly all of us use is on the North side. Any increase in train traffic would be putting residents lives at risk. (Received via project website)
