I own property and live near the tracks and already experience excessive noise day and night from the current amount of train traffic. Additionally, in our area we have many deer and other animals that are affected by the fast moving, loud trains. With a Nature Sanctuary right by my house, we are attempting to attract nature while the trains certainly are discouraging nature in the area. As a Missouri Bumblebee Watch surveyor, the bees in our area are fewer with the increase in train traffic over the past 8 years. Since we grow our own food on our property, this is very concerning. I'm writing to request that the number of trains, the speed of the trains and the number of cars per train are not increased. It is currently a huge problem night and day at the current rate of use with the train horns blowing, the cars connecting, the wheels squeaking and the loudness of the train speed. Thanks for allowing me to comment. (Received via project website)
