As a resident near the railroad tracks in question, I oppose the proposed increase in train traffic. The increased traffic poses safety issues for people and animals, environmental concerns from possible spills and increased traffic through my section of the neighborhood as people try to out run/go around the stoppage due to the trains. I also am concerned it will affect my quality of life with all the noise and pollution from the extra trains as well as the resale value of my home. For these reasons, I oppose this proposal.
