We live on the corner of Mississippi Drive and Iowa Avenue; i.e., directly across the street from the tracks. Our building was built in 1914 and we refurbished it during the period of 2006-2009. Last month we spent $200,000.00 on tuck pointing due to the vibration from the trains. Large pieces of the facade fell off the building. Increasing the volume of train traffic will have a detrimental effect on infrastructure along the riverfront and possibly further into downtown. (Received via project website)
