I live 2 blocks SE of the Rt 19/Wood Dale Rd. In Wood Dale IL., and OPPOSE the proposed merger. Trains passing thru town block all North- South traffic and East -West bound traffic, including emergency response vehicles. We already have a significant number of Metra commuter trains in addition to an increasing number of freight train traffic including fair amounts of tanker trains hauling dangerous chemicals. Freight train traffic moving in and out of the Bensenville yard should be routed over the recently built viaduct at York and art 19 and not thru towns and residential neighborhoods with grade level crossings.
