i'm responding to the possible daily increased rail traffic thru the village. there is nothing positive about your proposal for itasca. traffic will be impacted negatively. there are already 2-3 freight trains that pass thru itasca daily. they already create traffic disturbance & congestion & excessive air & noise pollution on a daily /nighttime basis. all fire & police response originate from south of the current rail lines. it is possible for these trains to block all intersections to the north side of town. a delayed response due to trains blocking all crossings could result in a life threatening incident(s). furthermore, these trains will have a negative impact on private residences that already exist close to the present railroad lines. your proposal definitely has a totally negative impact on the village of itasca. please find another location for your plan!!!
