I do no agree with the proposal that will increase 3 folds the freight train traffic thru Itasca. I feel that Itasca being a small village is in the crossfire of ruthless business activities that are incompatible with a quiet village. We have the newly constructed and noisy O'Hare extension, we have the green area of the Hamilton Park taken away by a Data Center (in Elk Grove), the other Data Center proposed on the golf club, we have the jet noise of O'Hare airport, we have the unsettled treatment for addiction pending, we have the issue of high voltage (I don't know if that was settled with ComEd or not). It certainly bites to have a village with more CONCERN to make money than to offer a better environment to its citizens. (Received via project website)
