I oppose this merger due to the projected impact that this will have on the Wood Dale community from the burdens it will place on our residents, commuters and public safety response time will likely outweigh the benefits cited by the companies in this merger. Wood Dale would see an increase in freight trains of over 50% per day , increasing from an average of 16 trains per day to 24 trains per day. This will result in an increase in road closures that separate our town in half, slowing or significantly delaying response to emergency situations. (Received via project website)
