I would like to take a moment to voice my opposition to increase freight rail traffic in Itasca, IL. To increase it by 300% seems absurd. This is a family town with kids riding bikes through town at all times of the day going to and from school. Why wouldn’t this route be in more of a rural or industrial town where the increased probability of accident would not be as high? How would this effect the commuters that rely on the multiple commuter trains to get them to and from work during the week? Thank you for considering my comments. Lindsey Fauske
