To CP: I appreciate the fact that you have acquired KCS and due to this rail traffic could be increasing through the downtown Muscatine area. I think this is to be expected but would like to submit my opinion that the proposed 3x increase in daily rail traffic seems a bit too much. I think most of us around here could see something like a 30% increase and not feel too put off by that...but 300%...that to me would impact our downtown area in a negative way.
