I am against having this significant increase in rail traffic. It will impact quality of life, business, traffic accidents all in a negative way. I’m guessing this public comment opportunity is a nicety and this is a done deal already. Canadian Pacific should also be heavily fined for blocking railways any longer than 5 minutes. This is already a huge problem in Muscatine with an average 6 trains per day. I can’t imagine 20+. There should be overpasses built for busy intersections. Funded by Canadian Pacific. Not taxpayers.
