The Milwaukee/West line runs along my back yard. I’m on an acre, so the noise from passenger trains is not too bad. Freight trains, however, can cause some vibrations in my house. Having an additional 6-8 freight trains per day could cause structural damage to my house, as well as added noise pollution. I moved here from Bensenville, and am relieved to be away from airplane noise and house vibrations. Additionally, leaving my subdivision in Medinah requires crossing the railroad tracks. More wait time with cars runnings - more pollution. I am very much against this merger. (Received via project website)
