I live at the Main St. condo at the Prospect St. crossing. I oppose the merger if it means 6-8 additional freight trains per day, a 300% increase. This is environmental pollution. The noise and vibration level will be nearly intolerable, especially in the summer with open windows. The whistles are louder than Metra trains. It will devalue the property of those living near the tracks, and have the potential for accidents and toxic spills. Please reconsider the merger or greatly reduce the number of additional freight trains. Thank you. (Received via project website)
