The railroads cannot keep holding the communities they run through hostage. If trains are going to be tripled in the Quad Cities, there better be passenger service at the very least, and the railroad needs to step up and invest in mitigations to the disruption they cause - e.g. quiet zones, track relocation, downtown redevelopment.
