As to the additional trains you would like to run thru Roselle I am against. The traffic is already terrible with the trains we have coming thru and most are just quick Metra. I’m assuming you are suggesting long freight trains which would hinder traffic even more . Roselle Road and Irving park especially would be back up for miles. I don’t want our village turning into a Bensonville situation where you sat in traffic forever if stuck by a train. Plus if there was a train accident with chemicals on board or not there are too many people living too close to the train tracks and they would be in danger. I don’t think this would do anything to promote Roselle as a place to settle. (Received via project website)
