We are very currently very concerned with the level of train traffic that runs next to our neighborhood. The concern is great enough to have created a committee to address this concern in Bowes Creek. We are awakened at all hours and have many older residents who already struggle to get a good nights rest. The crossing at Bowes and Nesler Rd is extremely dangerous and is a very busy intersection. Many school buses use this crossing daily and it is already not safe. More trains would increase the level of danger. Please do not allow this acquisition to occur. It will be a detriment to our community, greatly disturb homeowners, lower property value, and increase danger in the area. (Received via project website)
