I do not support more train. I live 1/2 from the Rodenburg Road crossing. Auto traffic backs-up and congested that road, spilling increased traffic onto Travis Pkwy…with impatient drivers. Several residents have nearly been hit by cars turning around. Additionally the price of “progress” impends upon my rights to enjoy my property…peacefully. With new residential construction going up nearby, traffic will already be a huge issue. Not to forget the 140,000 square transit project of Schaumburg’s. I vote “NO” to more train traffic! I want to be able to use roads my tax dollars support, walk in a quiet neighborhood and not risk getting struck by upset drivers. I want to breathe clean air and I want to be able to get to my doctor’s office or ER if necessary without train delays. This also will decrease my property values. No one wants to live by a constant stream of freight train traffic. No one. Do not permit this assault on peaceful communities. Vote “NO”! (Received via project website)
