I have concerns about the added freight train traffic this would cause. This would cause additional car traffic as the rail crossing is located at two of our towns most traveled streets. Irving Park and Wood Dale rd. This would increase both police and fire response times as both of those main locations are on the other side of the crossing. EMS vehicles would need to cross freight trains by using rt 83 or going out of their way to Itasca. Either way causing significant delays to respond to emergencies. (received via project website)
