The proposed increase of freight train traffic along the Milwaukee District West train line through Roselle will negatively impact my and my family’s life and health, with no benefit in return. Fumes from the trains, traffic delays including emergency vehicles, and the substantial noise of freight trains will negatively affect my community. Our downtown area, like many others, is along the train lines; when I walk, shop, eat, and attend community events, I do not want to be assaulted by emissions and noise. Our town is trying to be more engaging, and the increase of freighter traffic will hinder its progress. Please do not allow an increase of freight train traffic through my town.
