I am against the addition of more freight trains running through Roselle. It will increase traffic build up and cause major delays. I have lived here for 7 years, came from Plainfield and was glad to only have the Metra trains running through Roselle. Plainfield trail traffic was always an issue with traffic back ups due to the very long freight trains running through. Moving away from all of that was one of the reasons I chose Roselle. Roselle is small, the traffic has increased already, allowing freight trains to run through will create a traffic nightmare. Also a safety issue. Roselle is not prepared to handle the excess traffic and any environmental issues that will arise from that traffic and excess trains running through. Do not allow extra freight traffic!
